The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the Leadership Fairfield program every year, with the program being in its 5th year for the 2018-2019 class. The program includes eight monthly sessions each centered around a unique theme. Every session is different but includes expert presenters, panels of community leaders and behind-the-scene tours of Fairfield businesses. By the end of the program, each participant will not only have a well-rounded view of the various business sectors in Fairfield but also have personally connected and networked with Fairfield's top business and community leaders. The Leadership Fairfield class recently met for their February session, Sacrifice. The class toured The Lord's Cupboard; Jefferson County's emergency food pantry, and Noah's Ark Animal Foundation. Panelist discussions this month included the topics of Jefferson County mental health, non-profits and community service organizations. The class will meet again on Tuesday, March 5th. The theme for March is Passion.
