Ribbon Cutting Recap: Grow Fairfield Neighborhood Revitalization Project Home

On Monday, September 15, the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors joined Grow Fairfield in celebrating the completion of their very first Neighborhood Revitalization Project Home with a ribbon cutting and open house at 700 S 7th Street.
Guests were welcomed with a tour of the brand-new property, led by Ed Malloy of Grow Fairfield, who highlighted the home’s modern layout and workforce-friendly features. Mayor Connie Boyer also shared a few words, commending the Neighborhood Revitalization Program for its impact and the local partnerships that made this project possible.
The event drew a strong crowd, including Chamber Ambassadors, Neighborhood Revitalization board members, and community members, all eager to see the results of this important initiative.
This 1,200-square-foot home includes an open concept design, spacious kitchen, three bedrooms, two full baths, and a two-car garage—all built with high-quality local construction. The property is now officially move-in ready and available for a buyer.
If you weren’t able to join us for the ribbon cutting, you’ll have another chance to tour the home at an Open House this Saturday, September 20, from 1:00–4:00 PM.
This ribbon cutting not only celebrated the completion of one home, but also marked a meaningful step forward in Fairfield’s commitment to expanding housing options and strengthening neighborhoods through collaboration.
