The Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County Seeks Executive Director to Lead Community Hunger Relief Efforts
A meaningful leadership opportunity is now available with The Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County. The local nonprofit is currently seeking an Executive Director to help guide the organization’s mission of fighting hunger by providing emergency food assistance to those in need.
This part-time position, requiring 20–25 hours per week, offers the chance to make a direct impact in the community. The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the food pantry, serve as the public face of the organization, and work collaboratively with a governing board of directors. The role also includes leading a dedicated team of volunteers and helping ensure the organization continues to grow in its ability to serve Jefferson County residents.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with only two paid staff members, the position calls for a strong, hands-on leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a holistic approach to managing operations. The selected candidate will play a key role in advancing the organization’s mission and strengthening community partnerships.
Current director Barb Sieren recently shared that she will be transitioning into a new chapter, shifting into an assistant role to dedicate more time to her business, Back to the Basics Farm. This change opens the door for a passionate community-minded leader to step into the Executive Director position and continue building on the pantry’s important work.
Applications are available at The Lord’s Cupboard and must be submitted by Friday, April 24 at 3:30 PM.
