Live Jazz Every Saturday Night at the Golden Magnolia Sanctuary Community Kitchen
For nearly four years, Fairfield has been treated to the soulful sounds of Dr. Dave’s Jazz Mojos at the Golden Magnolia Sanctuary Community Kitchen. What began as the My Romance duo, founded by Dave and his partner, soon grew to include a bassist, and today has blossomed into a vibrant five-piece jazz combo.
Every Saturday evening from 6:00–8:00 PM, the band donates their time and talent, filling the Sanctuary with smooth jazz and community spirit. Even on the rare weekends when the group is unavailable, they ensure live music is still provided by finding a suitable replacement, so the tradition never skips a beat.
Despite their dedication, many Fairfield residents remain unaware that this free weekly live music experience exists. Not only is it an opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment, but it also supports an important cause. Donations collected at the community kitchen go directly to the Golden Magnolia Sanctuary nonprofit, helping provide meals and resources to those in need right here in Fairfield.
