Fairfield Cultural Alliance Invites Nominations for 2025 Cultural Achievement Awards
Fairfield, Iowa – September — The Fairfield Cultural Alliance (FCA) is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Cultural Achievement Awards, honoring the individuals, organizations, and projects that enrich the cultural life of Fairfield and Jefferson County.
Each year, the Cultural Achievement Awards recognize outstanding contributions that strengthen Fairfield’s identity as a vibrant cultural community. Award categories include:

Cultural Contribution Award – presented to an individual or organization whose recent work has made a meaningful impact on Fairfield’s arts and culture.

Cultural Legacy Award – honoring those whose long-term dedication has created lasting cultural benefits for the community.
“The Cultural Achievement Awards shine a spotlight on the people who bring creativity, connection, and vitality to Fairfield,” says Burt Chojnowksi, Fairfield Cultural Alliance Vice President. “This is our chance as a community to say thank you to those who are shaping Fairfield’s cultural heartbeat.”
How to Nominate
Nominations are open to the public. To nominate an individual, group, or organization:

Provide the nominee’s name and contact information.

Include your own name and contact information.

Share a brief statement (approximately 250 words) describing why your nominee deserves recognition.
Nominations must be submitted by September 15, 2025. Submissions can be sent via email to info@fairfieldculturalalliance.org or online (preferred) through the Fairfield Cultural Alliance website at fairfieldculturalalliance.org
Award recipients will be honored at FCA’s annual Arts & Culture Celebration on November 11, 2025 at ICON Gallery in downtown Fairfield. The evening will feature live music, mini-grant presentations, and the presentation of the Cultural Achievement Awards.
