FAIRFIELD — The irresistible sound of Motown and classic soul will take center stage at Fairfield Arts & Convention Center with Uptown: A Celebration of Motown & Soul on Thursday, March 19 at 7:30 PM.
Celebrating the golden age of American soul music, Uptown delivers a polished, high-style tribute to legendary artists including The Temptations, Diana Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and more. Backed by a first-rate band and featuring dynamic choreography, rich vocal arrangements, and hilarious banter, the show recreates the unmistakable sound and style that defined a generation.
More than a concert, Uptown is a full-scale production that captures the elegance, optimism, and feel-good spirit of one of American music’s most influential eras. Hit after hit will have audiences reliving some of the best moments of their lives while tapping their feet and singing along.
