Chamber Launches Annual Tree of Lights Campaign to Brighten Fairfield This Holiday Season
Fairfield’s beloved holiday tradition is just around the corner, and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Tree of Lights Campaign. Each year, this community-supported fundraiser helps illuminate the downtown square with the warm, festive glow residents look forward to all season long.
The holiday lights will officially turn on the day after Thanksgiving, marking the start of the Christmas season in Fairfield. Many of the decorations have already begun making their way to the square, thanks to the dedication of the Fairfield City Department, whose team works tirelessly each year to install, repair, and prepare the displays. Their behind-the-scenes efforts make this tradition possible, and the Chamber extends its deep appreciation for their hard work.
Funds raised through the Tree of Lights Campaign support the maintenance, repair, and replacement of Fairfield’s holiday décor, ensuring the community continues to enjoy a beautifully lit and welcoming downtown for years to come. Contributions also help the Chamber invest in new decorations as older pieces retire, keeping the display fresh, festive, and safe.
“The Tree of Lights Campaign is one of Fairfield’s most heartfelt traditions,” said Chamber Executive Director Mendy McAdams. “Every donation, large or small, helps keep our downtown shining bright and filled with the holiday spirit.”
How to Participate
Community members, families, and businesses are invited to make a donation or dedicate a memorial in honor of a loved one. This year, giving is easier than ever with online donations now available.
