Blast Off Golf Tournament Recap – June 6th, 2025
Fairfield hit the greens in full swing for our annual Blast Off Golf Tournament on June 6th, and what a day it was! Thanks to our generous sponsors and enthusiastic teams, the event was a great success at both courses.
The men’s tournament teed off bright and early at The Walton Club, with 20 teams registered and 18 making it onto the course by 8:30 AM (we know—it was early). We haven’t seen many photos yet, which we’re taking as a sign of just how much fun they had. They're probably still recovering!
Over at Fairfield Golf & Country Club, we saw a fantastic comeback for the women’s tournament with 13 teams—the largest turnout in years! Spirits were high, and the popular wine pull was a hit. For $15, players could take home a mystery bottle of wine—like a grab bag, but for grown-ups. 🍷
A special moment came when Alissa Ward of Iowa State Bank won the 50/50 raffle—and then generously donated her winnings back to the Chamber. Thank you, Alissa, for your incredible community spirit!
