![]() Ever wondered what happens out at Heartland Co-Op? This is your chance for a behind the scenes tour of the big bins! Heartland Co-Op and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to show high school students the great variety of careers which are available in the agriculture sector! On Monday, February 5th, Fairfield High School students are invited to Heartland Co-Op from 10:00am-12:00pm on their ‘No School Monday’. Students will tour the Heartland Co-Op Facility, hear from a panel of people in the Agriculture Sector, and wrap up with a free lunch provided by Jefferson County Farm Bureau. This program is relevant to both students planning to obtain a college degree and those who plan to directly enter the workforce after high school. Pre-registration is required for the event. If you are interested in registering, receiving an email reminder for all upcoming Fairfield WORKS! events, or have questions about the program, please email Brittney at Events@FairfieldIowa.com. The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about this new opportunity for the community!
