A Respectful, Structured Opportunity to Learn
The forum is not a debate. Its purpose is to help voters learn more about the candidates and their perspectives through questions prepared by the Chamber. No questions will be taken from the audience.
Each candidate will have designated time limits for introductions and responses. The Chamber will follow the schedule and enforce those limits to give each candidate an equal opportunity to participate.
“We want this to be a meaningful opportunity for our community to become informed,” said Mendy McAdams, Executive Director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to provide a respectful, organized and equal platform for candidates to share their perspectives on issues that matter to our community.”
To maintain a neutral and consistent environment, campaign apparel, signs, handouts, campaign literature, and other promotional materials will not be permitted. These guidelines apply equally to all candidates and attendees, with no exceptions. Participating candidates must also review and sign the Candidate Rules & Guidelines before taking the stage.
