Volunteers Needed for First-Ever Fairfield Rotary Spring Festival
The Fairfield Rotary Club is inviting community members to help launch a brand-new community event this spring. Volunteers are currently needed for the first-ever Fairfield Rotary Spring Festival, taking place Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Fairfield Central Park.
The inaugural festival will feature a full afternoon of family-friendly activities, games, and food in the heart of downtown Fairfield. Planned attractions include a dunk tank, balloon drop and pop, bingo tent, cake walk, duck pond, ring toss, face painting, temporary tattoos, raffles, and more. Festival food favorites such as funnel cakes, walking tacos, corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and lemonade will also be available.
To help make the first year a success, Rotary is seeking volunteers to assist with activity stations, food booths, ticket booths, the information table, and other festival needs. Volunteers can request specific roles or simply offer to help wherever needed.
Organizers hope the event will become a fun annual tradition that brings the community together while supporting Rotary’s service efforts.
Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Volunteer Coordinator Kent Rice at krp1kor2@gmail.com or 641-919-3588 to get scheduled.
The Fairfield Rotary Spring Festival will take place May 2, 2026 at Fairfield Central Park from 11 AM to 4 PM.
