The Fairfield Art Association announces details about its annual MEMBERSHIP EXHIBIT
The Fairfield Art Association announces details about its annual MEMBERSHIP EXHIBIT with an all new format for artists in all medias. A call for art entries invites artists to participate in this 60th Anniversary year.
The theme is "Something Old and Something New", One original art piece can be five years or older, and the 2nd one should have been created in the past year. A 600 square footage area is allowed per artist for both entries (easy formula to calculate in guidelines or we will help)
Adult artists will deliver artworks January 27-30 to the FAA studio in the FA&CC between 1-5 PM Tuesday - Friday. Entry forms are available at the studio, on our website fairfieldartassociation.com or can be emailed to you on request to suzan1252@aol.com .
The entry forms spell out all requirements on labeling art pieces, hanging methods accepted, pricing for sales, how to join and lists FAA membership categories and categories.
The Membership Exhibit will open in the Main Gallery at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center (200 North Main St. Fairfield, IA) on Friday February 6, 2026, and will close at the end of March.
An Awards Event Celebration date will be announced, when cash awards are given for "Outstanding top 4 entries" and a Vote for Peoples' Choice award.
We hope this "Old & New" theme will be fun and stir conversations about "where we have been as artists and where we are now" - maybe our media & styles have greatly changed, our color pallets? who has influenced us?"
