MIU Basketball Launches Business Partnership Campaign
Maharishi International University Men’s Basketball is inviting local businesses to become part of a new initiative aimed at building a competitive basketball program while creating meaningful opportunities for student-athlete development and community engagement.
Head Men’s Basketball Coach Romel Bryant recently announced the launch of the Building Champions: MIU Men’s Basketball Business Partnership Campaign, a sponsorship initiative designed to connect area businesses with the university’s growing men's basketball program.
Bryant brings extensive coaching experience to MIU, having helped lead championship-level programs at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. His vision extends beyond success on the court.
"My goal at MIU is to build more than a basketball team," Bryant said. "I want to develop young men academically, athletically, socially, and professionally while creating a program the Fairfield community can support and be proud of."
The partnership campaign offers multiple sponsorship levels, ranging from Community Partner opportunities beginning at $300 to a Presenting Partner level of $75,000. Depending on the selected partnership level, participating businesses may receive season-long recognition through game-day programs, public address announcements, reserved seating, arena signage, website placement, social media promotion, team apparel visibility, and other marketing opportunities.
A unique component of the campaign includes plans to produce a documentary-style project that chronicles the development of the MIU Men’s Basketball program while highlighting the businesses and community partners helping support its growth.

- Early Partner Commitment Deadline: August 15, 2026
- Final Partnership Commitment Deadline: September 15, 2026
- Logos, marketing materials, and payment arrangements due: October 1, 2026
- First Scheduled Game: October 17, 2026
