Connecting Community and Classrooms: Two New Opportunities at Pence Elementary

posted on 8/25/25

This school year, Pence Elementary is excited to launch two new initiatives that will help strengthen the connection between our school and the local business community:

Adopt a Classroom – Rolling Out the Red Carpet to Success

Through our Adopt a Classroom program, businesses can partner directly with a classroom for the 2025–2026 school year. Partnerships may include classroom read-alouds, sponsoring or participating in fun projects, joining recess activities, or even mentoring students. It’s a flexible and rewarding way to make a difference, and we’ll work with you to make the partnership a win-win!

PIE – Partners in Education Membership

Our Partners in Education (PIE) program invites local businesses and organizations to become ongoing school partners. As a PIE member, you’ll be recognized as a valued supporter of Pence Elementary, strengthen connections with families and the community, stay up to date with school news, and most importantly, help empower our students.

Both programs provide meaningful ways for businesses to invest in the future of our students while building strong community ties.

Let’s work together to roll out the red carpet for student success!
