![]() Too many high school students are graduating from high school without knowing all the amazing career opportunities right in their own hometown! The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with local businesses and the Fairfield Community School District to offer a great new program called 'Fairfield Works'. On high school students ‘No School Mondays’ they are invited to tour a local business and learn about the career opportunities here in their own hometown. This program is relevant to both students planning to obtain a college degree and those who plan to directly enter the workforce after high school. Students will be touring the local businesses, hearing from a panel of team members from the business, and solving different 'real world issues' with their classmates. The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about this new opportunity for the community. Chamber Members are already signing up to host and help with sessions in the 2017-2018 school year.
