Summer Art Installation Artists Wanted
The Fairfield Art Association is looking for a few more artists to work on its 17th annual Summer Art Installation for downtown Fairfield.
This year the theme is "FIRE CRACKERS" because they will somewhat look like a fire cracker and will help our community celebrate our country's 250thn Year, along with the FAA 60th Anniversary!. PVC pipes have been donated by Hickenbottom INC to the FAA. When completed they will slip over the metal pipes installed in garden nodes around the the city square.
We are looking for pipes to be artistically painted/decorated in primarily red white and blue (along with other colors) with them & Iowa om 1-5 PM. There are also some fun ideas posted on the FAA door. Creations are due at the end of May to be installed for the June 5th Art Walk.
