New Friends Program Supports Jefferson County Parks, Trails and Outdoor Experiences
The Conservation Foundation of Jefferson County, Iowa, has launched Friends of Jefferson County Conservation, a new community giving program that invites individuals, families and businesses to support the outdoor spaces that make our county special.
From exploring local trails to enjoying a family afternoon at the park, Jefferson County’s natural areas offer opportunities for recreation, learning and connection. The new program will help care for these places and expand outdoor experiences for generations to come.
Supporting Conservation and Community

- Park improvements and equipment
- Community events, including Outdoor Adventure Night
The program builds on the Foundation’s history of supporting projects throughout Jefferson County. Past contributions have helped fund playground equipment, camping facilities, trails, canoes, kayaks and archery equipment.
