Foxy Curations Celebrates Growth with Chamber Ribbon Cutting
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated Foxy Curations with a ribbon cutting at its storefront at 52 S. Main Street, on the west side of the Fairfield town square.
Owner Josie Hannes and her team welcomed Chamber Ambassadors and community members into a shop filled with books, gifts, art, candles, soaps, jewelry, apparel, humorous finds and plenty of unexpected items to browse. Several Ambassadors even took the opportunity to do a little shopping during the celebration.
Hannes shared the story behind Foxy Curations, which began last winter as a vintage pop-up inside her photography studio, Josie Hannes Designs. The pop-up proved so successful — and so much fun — that she decided to expand the concept into a full-time storefront on the square.
Since opening, Foxy Curations has continued to evolve beyond its vintage roots, adding shirts, hats, magnets, books, gifts, artwork and more. Hannes also hopes to continue creating opportunities for additional local vendors to sell their goods in the shop.
And while she has plenty of ideas for what may come next, Hannes joked that a lady has to keep some secrets.
The strong turnout made for a lively ribbon cutting, and Chamber Ambassadors were pleased to officially welcome Foxy Curations and celebrate the growth of another locally owned downtown business.
Stop in and congratulate Josie and shop a while!
