Fairfield Kiwanis Seeks New Members to Support Local Youth

Fairfield Iowa Kiwanis is inviting community members to put their time and talents to work for local children by joining the organization or volunteering at an upcoming project.

Kiwanis is a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Locally, Fairfield Kiwanis supports projects that make a meaningful difference for area youth. Kiwanis Kids’ Day is one example of that work, along with building local playgrounds, offering scholarships and helping send children with special needs to camp.

Members also enjoy the opportunity to connect with others while serving the community. The Fairfield Kiwanis Club meets twice each month for an evening meal, conversation and project planning. Meetings may also feature guest speakers or tours of local businesses. The club welcomes adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Those interested in learning more can complete a membership application, volunteer for Kiwanis Kids’ Day or attend an upcoming meeting as a guest. It is an easy way to meet current members, enjoy a meal and see whether Kiwanis is a good fit.
