Fairfield / Jefferson County Survey Open Regarding Data Centers
Following a joint meeting on May 18, 2026, the Fairfield City Council and the Jefferson County Board of Supervisors are seeking additional public feedback regarding potential data center development and related impacts within Jefferson County.
A 14-question public survey has been made available through the City of Fairfield website to gather input from residents, business owners, property owners, employees, and others invested in Jefferson County. Community members are encouraged to participate in the survey, which is expected to remain open through at least June 8, 2026.
At this time, no additional joint meetings regarding the topic have been scheduled. Survey responses are intended to help inform future discussions and do not represent official policy positions of either governing body.
