Fairfield Arts & Convention Center Welcomes Community for Business After Hours
The Fairfield Arts & Convention Center welcomed Chamber members and community guests for Business After Hours on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. With a strong turnout, the gathering offered an opportunity to meet new Executive Director David Rodwin, connect with FACC staff, and take a closer look at the convention center.
Business After Hours brings people together to build relationships and learn more about local businesses and organizations. Open to the public, these gatherings give Chamber members and community guests time to mingle while getting to know the people and places that contribute to Fairfield.
At FACC, that meant welcoming a new leader whose background spans music, theater, storytelling, film, and comedy. Rodwin’s arrival and the newly announced 2026–27 MainStage Season provided the backdrop for an evening focused on connections and what’s ahead for the center.
Guests were introduced to Rodwin and staff and treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the convention center. The tour offered a closer look at the facility, while conversations throughout the evening gave attendees a chance to learn more about what FACC has to offer.
A lovely charcuterie spread accompanied the gathering, along with complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks, and juice. Guests mingled, met the team, and enjoyed time together in a relaxed setting.
The evening also included a drawing for free tickets to Scott Kirby’s Main Street Souvenirs, an upcoming show featuring Fairfield. It was another opportunity to connect guests with the programming coming to the center.
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce thanks the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, David Rodwin, and the FACC staff for welcoming Chamber members and community guests. Thank you as well to everyone who attended, made introductions, and took time to learn more about the center.
We encourage community members to connect with FACC and explore its upcoming performances and offerings. Visit the Chamber’s Facebook page for additional photos from Business After Hours.
