Fairfield Area Chamber Ambassador Club Announces New Leadership Team
The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce new leadership for its Ambassador Club, a dedicated group of Chamber volunteers who help welcome new members, support Chamber events, and strengthen connections throughout the Fairfield business community.
As the organization begins a new leadership year, the Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to Rachel Brown of Behner Funeral Home for her service as Ambassador Club President. During her tenure, Brown helped guide the group through a period of growth and positive change while continuing to foster the welcoming spirit that Ambassadors bring to every Chamber event and member interaction.
"Rachel's leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the Ambassador Club," said Mendy McAdams, Chamber Executive Director. "We are grateful for the time and energy she invested in helping the program grow and succeed."
The Chamber is also excited to welcome its newly elected Ambassador leadership team:
- President: Margie Goehring, Ottumwa Radio Group
- Vice President: Dena Morrissey, Iowa State Bank
- Secretary: Amy Greiner, AERON Lifestyle Technology, Inc.
The new leadership team will help guide the Ambassador Club as it continues its mission of supporting Chamber members, fostering business relationships, and enhancing the overall Chamber experience.
Often recognized by their signature red jackets and shirts, Chamber Ambassadors serve as some of the organization's most visible volunteers. Whether greeting attendees at ribbon cuttings, assisting at Business After Hours events, celebrating member milestones, or helping newcomers feel welcome, Ambassadors play an important role in building a strong and connected business community.
The Chamber also encourages any current Chamber member interested in becoming more involved to consider joining the Ambassador Club. Participation offers opportunities to build professional relationships, increase community engagement, and serve as a representative of the Chamber and its members.
