Community 1st Credit Union is seeking a friendly, service-focused individual to join its Fairfield team as a Part-Time Teller. The position offers approximately 25–29 hours per week and pays $17 per hour.

No previous banking experience is required. Community 1st is looking for candidates with strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided to help the selected candidate build the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career with C1st.

About the Position

The Part-Time Teller will work directly with members, providing friendly and efficient service while assisting with everyday financial needs. Responsibilities include processing deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; answering account questions; maintaining accurate records; and helping members identify appropriate financial solutions.

The schedule will include weekday shifts and two to three Saturday mornings each month, with Saturday hours concluding by noon.

Successful candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, careful attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively. A member-focused approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment are also important.
