All Area School Employees Invited to Teacher Appreciation Event

The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce invites teachers and school employees from Fairfield Community Schools, Maharishi School, Pekin Community Schools, Van Buren County Community Schools and Cardinal Community Schools to our annual Teacher Appreciation Event.

The free event will be held Wednesday, September 23, from 4:30–6:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

This year’s event is open to all school employees—not only classroom teachers. We hope you will join us for an evening dedicated to recognizing the many people who support, educate and encourage area students throughout the school year.

Attendees can enjoy food and drinks, visit booths offering classroom supplies and other gifts, enter to win gift baskets and gift cards, and spend time with fellow school employees from across the area. Childcare will also be available in a supervised kids’ room so parents can relax and enjoy the event.

Every year, this is a fun opportunity for our community to give back to its educators and school staff, and we expect this year’s celebration to be even better than the last.

Registration is required so we can plan appropriately for food, supplies and childcare. When registering, please tell us which school you are with and whether you will need childcare. First-year teachers should also let us know, as a special gift will be waiting for them.
