Leadership Fairfield 2019-2020 Class - Held by the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce The program includes eight monthly sessions each centered around a unique theme. Every session is different but includes expert presenters, panels of community leaders and behind-the-scene tours of Fairfield businesses. By the end of the program, each participant will not only have a well-rounded view of the various business sectors in Fairfield but also have personally connected and networked with Fairfield's top business and community leaders. For the month of October (session held on Tuesday, October 2nd), the Leadership Fairfield class focused on the manufacturing leaders in our community. They toured Agri-Industrial Plastics, Dexter Laundry, The Sky Factory and Paint-Line. All four of these manufacturing businesses are located in Fairfield, Iowa. .
. . On Saturday, October 12th, Leadership Fairfield participants had the opportunity to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity build site here in Fairfield. Leadership Fairfield participants are required to fulfill a minimum of 6 hours of volunteer work during the class, which comes to a close in April of 2020. .
