In conjunction with the Wege Gallery exhibition, "Through a Narrow Window," New York-based artist sTo Len will discuss his work and practice. sTo Len’s ethos as an artist embodies an in-the-field practice that deconstructs the job of an artist with a collaborative, holistic, and community-minded approach that blends civic stewardship with playful investigations into the lesser seen aspects of the human imprint. His practice takes on many different forms, from printmaking with water bodies to archival activations and site responsive interventions.
The virtual lecture will be on ZOOM. Please register to receive the link to join the event. https://forms.office.com/r/HirciBhJeb

December 12, 2025
5:30 pm
Fly tying has been tying flies to catch fish for a long time. Now, some people tie them just as a way to relax, or as a form of art. We’re going to begin this program series by tying one of the simplest and most effective flies, the San Juan Worm. If you plan to fly fish, this is a great fly to have in your fly box. If you want to tie for relaxation or as an art form, this fly teaches some of the basic skills and techniques that you need to be able to tie many different flies.
During this class, we will discuss the history of the fly, tie a few, and discuss how to fish this fly and what species it is effective for. Cost is $15, registration is required, and seats are limited.

Why Volunteer With Us?
By joining our kitchen, you're not just preparing meals – you're strengthening our community, one plate at a time. Here's how your contribution makes a difference:
- You'll help create delicious, plant-based meals for all, regardless of their ability to pay.
- Your efforts support our mission to reduce food waste by working with local food systems.
- You'll be part of a welcoming space where community members from all walks of life come together.
We need your help! Our kitchen runs best with 6 volunteers per shift, but often we're operating with just our kitchen director and a few helpers. Whether you can volunteer once a month or make it a weekly habit, your time is invaluable to us. Regular volunteers are especially appreciated as they help us maintain consistent operations.

In CPDH, players build 100-card singleton decks led by an uncommon creature as the commander, but all other cards must be commons. The format emphasizes efficiency, synergy, and strategic play within tight deck-building restrictions, making it a popular choice for players who enjoy competitive gameplay without high financial cost.

- Community Impact: Help provide nutritious meals to those in need while reducing food waste.
- Learning Opportunity: Gain kitchen skills and connect with diverse community members.
Ready to make a difference? Sign up HERE and become part of our Stone Soup story!
Can't volunteer? You can still support the cause with your donation. Donate HERE. Donations are tax deductible!
