The Chamber can get you involved. For over 40 years, the Chamber has sponsored the Legislative Breakfast series, an opportunity for Chamber members and their guests and employees to sit, eat and visit with the Fairfield area’s elected officials on the third Saturday of each month in January, February and March. State Senator Becky Schmitz (D), State Representative Larry Marek (D) and State Representative Curt Hanson (D) all are on hand for each Breakfast to talk shop and address concerns and questions. The lawmakers also bring Breakfast-goers up to speed on issues before the legislature. As a result of the Chamber’s dedication to bringing the issues to our local youth, each Breakfast corporate sponsor is encouraged to bring with him or her a local high school student.
