What: Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Where: Fairfield Square

When: November 28, 2014

Time: 5:30 p.m.

Holiday lights mean a lot to Fairfield. From the Friday after Thanksgiving on through the holiday season, the Square is awash in decorative lighting.  To kick off the illumination and subsequently the holiday season, the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce organizes the Holiday Lighting Ceremony each year; complete with Santa Claus pulled in on a horse-drawn sleigh with a police escort, traveling carolers and wagon rides for the kids. The Holiday Lighting Ceremony is held the Friday after Thanksgiving each year.

The Chamber Christmas Committee chooses one citizen, whom best exemplifies the holiday spirit, the opportunity to throw the switch on the lights and for the season. An evening not to be missed!
