It’s easy to forget what farming means to Fairfield. Each year, the Chamber does its part to recognize area farmers and their families for their contributions to our community by hosting the Chamber Farm BBQ at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Every Jefferson County farmer is invited to meet, greet and eat a free pork supper served up by the Jefferson County Pork Producers with all the trimmings.

It’s an opportunity for the Chamber to say thank you and to network with the farming community by answering questions, understanding concerns and having what amounts to a down-home good time.
