What the heck is a Blast Off? We’ll tell you what we know. Held each June, the Blast Off series offers Chamber members an opportunity to eat, drink and play a little golf one sunny Friday afternoon. Teams compete in the four-person best-ball tournament, with prizes going to winning teams. Throughout the day, golfers are served refreshments and lunch on the course, participate in games and a raffle among other activities. Winners win big on the prize end of things, but regardless of score, each golfer goes away from the day with an armful of prizes, most of them donated by the nearly 100 area Chamber member businesses who donate each year.
