Rotary Spring Festival Brings Food, Fun, and Community Spirit to Fairfield on May 2

posted on 3/9/26

Springtime in Fairfield means community, connection, and a little bit of friendly fun—and this year the Rotary Spring Festival is bringing all three together in a big way.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Fairfield, the festival will take place Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fairfield Central Park (Fairfield Square). Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather for a lively afternoon filled with games, food, and activities for all ages.

But beyond the fun, the festival also supports an important cause. Proceeds from the Rotary Spring Festival will go toward improvements to City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation playgrounds, helping create better places for local children and families to play and connect.

Food, Games, and Springtime Fun

The festival will feature a wide variety of classic carnival-style games and activities, including:

  • Balloon Drop & Pop

  • Duck Pond

  • Ring Toss

  • Cornhole

  • Grain Wagon Basketball

  • Bucket Toss

  • Hole Toss

  • Cake Walk

  • Bingo Tent

  • Dunk Tank

  • Face Painting & Temporary Tattoos

  • Bubble Station

  • Chalk Areas

  • Train rides

Guests can also enjoy plenty of festival favorites like walking tacos, funnel cakes, corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, lemonade, and bottled water.

Whether you're coming for the games or the snacks, there will be something for everyone.

Game Spotlight: The Local Celebrity Dunk Tank

Fairfield residents can now nominate who they think should take the plunge.

  • Nominations are form-only (no comment nominations).

  • Deadline to nominate: April 3.

  • The dunk tank lineup will be announced as the festival approaches.
