Good News Clubs Return to Southeast Iowa This September
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Southeast Iowa is preparing to begin a new season of Good News Clubs, offering local children an opportunity to learn, connect and have fun in a welcoming after-school environment.
Designed for children ages 5 through 12, Good News Clubs are 90-minute programs hosted in communities throughout the region. Each club includes Bible lessons centered on Jesus, games, snacks and activities. The clubs are part of Child Evangelism Fellowship’s broader mission to reach children and equip people to serve them.
The Southeast Iowa chapter serves Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington counties. Families interested in finding a nearby club, learning about upcoming meeting dates or exploring volunteer opportunities are encouraged to contact the organization directly.
CEF also offers the U-NITE digital platform for families seeking additional faith-based content for children. Available through major podcast and mobile platforms, U-NITE provides stories and programming created specifically for young listeners.
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has served children and families worldwide since 1937. Its Southeast Iowa chapter is based in Fairfield and works with churches, volunteers and community partners across the region.
