*To date Jefferson County Public Health has performed contact tracing on 76 individuals. There has been a 2-person discrepancy in the reported totals. This number is accurate information provided by JCPH. All cases in Jefferson County have recovered or are in the “recovery phase” of illness. No COVID-19 related deaths have occurred. *Jefferson County Public Health does not release numbers on a daily basis. IDPH provides state wide information. COVID-19 information is available in “real time.” Jefferson County data is available here: https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/# *Contact tracing will continue to be performed by JCPH for COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. JCPH requests that all individuals be honest and transparent when answering contact tracing questions. This is important for the health of our entire community. *JCPH continues to work with all local school districts and other community partners during this on-going pandemic response. *Please continue to follow recommendations: wash your hands, practice social distancing, and wear a mask/face covering.
