Don’t miss one of the highest attended Business After Hours of the Year! Come to Business After Hours on Friday, December 21st from 4:30pm to 7pm. Food and drinks will be provided in addition to tours of the plant. The Nelson Company is located at 1200 West Stone Avenue.
The Nelson Company’s trained machinists make machine parts that are sent worldwide to be used in the assembly of mostly agriculture-related equipment. They buy aluminum; ductile iron and gray iron castings and machine them into usable parts. They assist customers in placing their tooling with the appropriate foundry to best suit their needs.
The Chamber Business After Hours is a free, monthly networking event open to Chamber Members, their guests and the general public. If you are interested in hosting a Business After Hours, please contact the Chamber at 641-472-2111 or by email at Info@FairfieldIowa.com.
The Chamber recently sent out their 2019 Chamber Investment packets to Chamber Members. For 2019, the Chamber also offers an option to "Boost" your Membership. Please watch the video below for an explanation of the Chamber Investment Menu.

The 2018 Trees of Lights Campaign is underway! Each year residents of Fairfield and the surrounding area make donations to the Chamber of Commerce for the holiday decorations on the Fairfield square. The Chamber's Christmas Committee, which meets several times throughout the year, delegates Christmas funds to the appropriate area of need. The Trees of Lights Campaign pays for new decorations on the square as well as renovation of the long-standing traditional decorations that so many people have come to love and enjoy.
If you would like to make a donation this year, please contact the Chamber at 641-472-2111 or email our Event Coordinator, Chelsey Haynes, at Events@FairfieldIowa.com.
For the 2018 holiday season, the Chamber had the Kandy Kane House repainted. Thank you to everyone who was involved with the project! The Kandy Kane House is an annual tradition where Santa hands out candy canes during the month of December. Come visit Santa at the Kandy Kane House on the square in Fairfield this holiday season!
The owner of True Value in Fairfield, Jenn Rich, donated paint for the Kandy Kane House renovation project!
