![]() Did you know that Jefferson County Health Center has nearly 350 employees, of which only 7% are doctors and 34% are nurses? Jefferson County Health Center and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce are partnering to show high school students the great variety of careers which are available in the Health Care Industry. On Monday, October 2nd, Fairfield High School students are invited to the Jefferson County Health Center from 10:00am-12:00pm on their ‘No School Monday’. Students will be participate in team building activities, tour the Health Center, hear from a panel of employees, and wrap up with a free lunch. This program is relevant to both students planning to obtain a college degree and those who plan to directly enter the workforce after high school. Pre-registration is required for the event.
