What: Agriculture’s Role in Jefferson County Where: Heartland Coop – 2081 Nutmeg Ave. When: Friday, July 21 Time: 12:00-1:00pm RSVP to the Jefferson County Extension Office by calling 641-472-4166 by July 18. Ag Lunch and Learn Looks at Ag Impact on the Economy. The lunch and learn will include lunch grilled by the Jefferson County Cattlemen, an overview of agriculture’s impact on Jefferson County, a crop and livestock update, and will offer a tour of the Heartland Coop facilities. The lunch and learn is free and open to the public, but please RSVP to the Jefferson County Extension to get an accurate head count for the meal by calling 641-472-4166 by July 18. Program partners for the Jefferson County “Ag Lunch and Learn” are Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Jefferson County Farm Bureau, and the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

![]() Anjali is pleased to join the Chamber this summer, and tickled to be called the "Maternity Leave Extraordinaire." A trained birth doula, she feels particularly happy to step into this temporary role, in support of soon-to-be mother Lindsey Waugh and Brittney Tiller who had a little girl in May. We had a great turn out, with 19 teams, and a whole lot of fun! Golfers mingled on June 9 at the "ParTee" and enjoyed fun, food, drinks and live music. ![]() The Women's Blast Off Golf Tournament took place on Friday, June 9th, at the Walton Club. Golfers mingled the evening before at the "ParTee" and enjoyed fun, food, drinks and live music. The Men's Blast Off Tournament will be held this Friday, June 16th. We are pleased to announce the winners of the women's tournament! 1st Place
