Do you need to motivate someone to change a behavior or embrace a change? Human beings are driven to make changes by relationships and emotion. Members of a team are more productive and committed if they feel an emotional connection to leadership, colleagues, and the direction of the team.
On a scale of 1-10 how would you rank the emotional connections within your organization?
The good news is, Dale Carnegie Training has been helping organizations develop confident team members and leaders, who engage their teams, increase production, and take initiative, for over 100 years.

The Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the Legislative Breakfast series for over 50 years to provide a forum for discussion and an exchange of information on pertinent issues before our legislators. These breakfasts are designed for Chamber membership, businesses, guests and area high school students to hear firsthand how legislation will affect their business and quality of life. There is also the opportunity to communicate their concerns, comments and questions to their Legislators.
Our local legislators, Representative Curt Hanson, Representative Dave Heaton, Senator Mark Chelgren and Senator Rich Taylor have all been invited and will brief members, students and guests on hot issues and bills coming before the 2016 General Assembly session. The floor will also be opened up for a question and answer period following their remarks.
Dedication to bringing the legislative format to our youth is illustrated by this year’s business sponsors for the Legislative Breakfast. High school students from M.S.A.E. and Fairfield High School are invited to join us with a Corporate Sponsor.
All Chamber members and their employees, spouses and a Chamber member guest are welcome to attend. Please join us for breakfast and conversation. To make a reservation or for more information, contact Lindsey Waugh at 641-472-2111 or Chamber@FairfieldIowa.com.
