The new Fairfield Arts & Convention Center is a 32,000 square-foot performing arts, convention and meeting, visual arts and arts education facility. This new complex is one of the most comprehensive arts and convention centers in the state of Iowa. Located in the heart of downtown Fairfield at Briggs and Main Streets, the center reflects the city's rich tradition of family, community and pride. An interesting retreat by day and the jewel of Fairfield by night, this central gathering place is designed to showcase a world of arts and culture - everything from art exhibitions to world-class performances. The design of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center was inspired by a group of residents who had the desire to create a facility to promote the arts and theatre and provide a location for meetings and events for the community and others to enjoy.
