Scholarships

The Scholarship Program began in May of 1988 with a donation of $20,000.00 and has grown to be in excess of a half million dollars. Since 1989, scholarship awards have exceeded $79,000.00. We can help you establish a scholarship as a memorial to honor a loved one, a teacher or an individual who has been a mentor to you or your family. This award can be specific, focusing on a career, a discipline, an interest area or a vocation, or it might be completely open for the student’s particular need. You might consider this a great opportunity to support your high school alma mater or to create a scholarship for a specific college or university.

Park Enhancement

The Park Enhancement Fund is the most recently established area of the Foundation. Its focus is to help replant trees in the public parks of Fairfield and Jefferson County. During the last ten years, many of the large, older trees in our parks have begun to deteriorate because of age and wind damage. This reforestation effort provides for the planting of new, lightly branched trees where they will have a high rate of survival. Your charitable contribution will be invested to assist in providing shaded park areas for future generations.
