INFORMATION:
What:  Fairfield Public Library- Annual Summer Sign-Up Event
When: Saturday, June 2
Time:   1:00 to 4:30 pm
Where: 104 West Adams Street, in the meeting room

  There will be a number of community organizations providing programming information (4H, Open Class, Explore Art Camp, CMS Ceramics, Park & Recs, T.R.E.A.T., and more). 

In front of the library we will have our semi annual Friends of the Library Book Sale which begins at 9 am.  Beginning at 1pm we will have a bouncy castle for the kids as well as the police and fire departments helping with safety instruction for families. 

In the Children's Area of the library we will have a reading marathon.  Kids can sit and read books with us.  Each child who reads at the marathon gets their name put in a drawing.  Every 15 minutes we will draw names for prizes. 

And don't forget it is your chance to sign up for the Dream Big, Read the summer reading program.  The program runs from June 2^nd to July 26^th has three levels this year:

Early Literacy (where the parents read to the children)

Dream Big (for those who have finished Kindergarten up to fifth grade)

Own the Night (for those children who have finished 6^th through 11^th grade). 

Children get prizes for signing up as well as prizes at different points along the way.  Additionally children who finish the program will have their names entered in a drawing to win one of three Wal-Mart gift cards ($25 - $15 - $10).
