  1. Make new business contacts. As a member of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, you are immediately linked with over 400 other business members. Networking at Chamber events helps you meet potential customers, clients and vendors. Our programs provide great opportunities to get to know new people - and expand your client base. Network and exchange business cards at monthly Business After Hours. Take advantage of “recreational networking” at the Annual Men’s and Ladies Blast Offs. Enjoy a brief program, lunch and networking at quarterly FEA Networking Luncheons. Attend the Annual Meeting for networking and an overview of the Chamber’s plans for the coming year or the Annual Awards Banquet for recognition of business and industrial accomplishments and Fairfield Citizens of the Year.
  2. Market your products and services. Communicate information about your product or service. Sponsor a Business After Hours. Invite fellow Chamber members to visit your business and provide a relaxed atmosphere for networking. Display your promotional materials. An area is available in the Chamber office for member businesses to display business brochures. Get Referrals. The Chamber is pleased to recommend our members to hundreds of people a year inquiring about particular products or services in our area.
  3. Support Education. Attend the All Teacher Reception which honors local teachers. Be a speaker for Career Awareness or invite a student to visit your business for the Job Shadowing Program.
  4. Invest in a healthy economy. Promote Jefferson County. When the Chamber assists companies and individuals considering a relocation here, it means more business for you. Your investment in the Chamber helps us market Jefferson County and promote the quality of life. Support shopping in Jefferson County. When you purchase locally, you are in turn supporting the growth and prosperity of your county and your business. Chamber Gift Certificates are sold for use at any Chamber member’s business. Support the Student Gold Card Program by giving discounts or merchandise to students who obtain a 3.8 grade point average and higher or perfect attendance, or donation for gift certificates to 4.0 students. Attend downtown promotions and events such as Sidewalk Sales Days and the Retail Holiday Open House. Fairfield - “The Christmas City”. Get involved in the Holiday promotions or donate to the Holiday Light Canvas and help the Chamber keep Fairfield’s Central Park lit in the tradition of the “Christmas City”.
  5. Interact with all areas of the community. Attend the Manufacturers Recognition Luncheon and hear highlights from our industries. Cook or serve at our Annual Farm Barbecue and have a chance to meet with the agricultural sector of our community. Or exchange places with a business person or farmer by participating in our Farm to Business Exchange.
  6. Increase your access to information. Use our publications for valuable information. Stay up to date on Chamber happenings through the Chamber Newsletter. Use our resource information. Maps, Newcomer Packets, Reference Library (city directories, phone books, etc.) and Research Materials (demographic information) are available for your use at the Chamber.
  7. Heighten your company’s visibility. Your investment in the Chamber gives your business credibility, visibility and marketability - and it provides numerous opportunities for your business to be promoted to other members and the public. Show your support for positive growth and development in the Jefferson County area by displaying you Membership Plaque and Decal at your place of business. Contact fellow members easily through the purchase of Mailing Labels. New Members are welcomed monthly in the Chamber Newsletter which is also dispersed with our local newspaper.
  8. Gain a voice in government. The Chamber speaks on behalf of business. We maintain an active non-partisan government relations effort focusing on issues that directly affect your business. The Legislative Breakfasts are a great opportunity to meet with your local legislators to discuss current issues facing our government.
  9. Services of your Chamber. The Chamber provides services to meet your needs. Our Ambassador Committee is available for ribbon cuttings and welcoming new businesses. Our Pyramid Call System alerts you quickly to lost or stolen checks, bad checks, etc. Secretarial Services and Faxing Services are provided.
  10. Get Involved. There’s nothing more rewarding than volunteering your time to make Jefferson County a better place to live and do business. Your involvement in a Chamber task force, committee or project gives you and your business exposure in the community, and it provides the Chamber skilled individuals to help sustain and improve the quality of life that you, your family and your employees enjoy.
