Here’s What You Need to Know: After December 1, anyone earning less than $913 per week;
- Will (most likely) be entitled to overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a week
- Will be required to track and account for all hours worked within respective time keeping periods
Each business or nonprofit organization will need to determine the specific adjustments they may need to make to an individual’s current salaried compensation and how they will communicate these changes to their employee. There are several options a business may consider.
