The Fairfield Area Chamber is accepting registrations for a seminar to help Fairfield professionals learn how to leverage their LinkedIn presence. The session will take place Wednesday, December 14 from 11:30 am. – 1:00 p.m. at the Indian Hills Jefferson Center Computer lab. Registration is required and space is limited. The cost is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for others.
Participants who attend should already have a LinkedIn account. During this session, Digital Media Strategist Mark Cohen will give participants insight on the ways they can utilize LinkedIn to meet their professional networking goals, whether is for looking for clients, seeking new employees, or seeking employment opportunities. “Typically Mark will change $100+ for this for a client, so this is a really great opportunity for our members,” says Chamber Executive Director Detra Dettmann. The session will be interactive as Cohen demonstrates how to utilize different aspects of LinkedIn while participants do it, live, on a personal laptop or computer provided on-site.
LinkedIn has over 100 million active users and is the network of choice for professionals in the US. More professionals look at a LinkedIn profile than other sites when researching a potential hire.
